The story, Chuchotenango, is actually based on the shenanigans of my friend's cat, Uno. Uno is quite a character - both in the story and in real life!
 
This slide deck is a compilation of almost 100 (!) images to accompany the story (and in as best chronological order that could be organized). From portraits of some of the actual characters to images of beautiful Guatemala and her people that will serve to enhance the comprehension of the story.  And besides, who doesn't like to see pictures of dogs and cats!?!
 
Teachers may use this slide deck however they would like. Recommendations:
-pretell the story given the "personajes" slides
-review what's going on in the story given the images in the deck
-retell the story after it's been read
-provide the slide deck for students via your LMS, have them make a copy and then have them choose a certain number of images to tell their OWN story following the images (to either write and/or tell orally
-anything else you can dream of (be sure to share your ideas with me so I can tell others about them - giving you credit of course)
